Wow what a great show and thank you to all our intrepid listeners who showed up today for our first Live Broadcast!

Please check the patch notes and get informed on SOPA and PIPA, it's easier to stop a law than it is to repeal it, especially if that law prohibits free speech!

Drop by the STO Forums and let us know what you thought there as well!

It was a lot of fun listening and participating! Awesome first live show!

Also I couldn't agree more on SOPA and PIPA! Speak up people and stop corporations from getting away with dismantling the internet piece by piece!

Does the show actually end at 38:07? Perhaps it's just me but I can't listen past that time marker. It ssounds as if the show is cut short.

Edit: Just tried it with my mobile device and it seems to work fine now, must have been some glitch with the old computer...

Sorry your having trouble Redstar. I double checked everything and it all seems to be working. Perhaps try right clicking and "save as" or go to iTunes?

Let us know if you continue to have troubles.

First off --- yay for the shout out.

Secondly, Great show. I enjoyed being there live and I think it adds a level of community involvement that has been missing from Priority one. PodcastUGC, STOked and RSA all have live elements to them and it allows the people to feel invested in the show and are apart of it through the chat.

The final version is much more professional than what happens live but that's to be expected and actually more fun!

See you guys next week!

Great show everyone!

I agree that the whole SOPA and PIPA thing really is messed up =/ I've seen a lot of other sites start to stand against it so hopefully it will all work out.

Loved the interview guys, JHeining seems really cool and its always nice to hear from the other Devs in STO!

I do have a question. When do you guys do the show when it is live? I think I missed it somewhere and I can't find it on this site, unless I'm over looking something.

Anyways,
Keep up the good work!

Hey Rushe,

I'm glad you enjoyed the show! It was our first live broadcast so we didn't do a lot of promotion. We do plan to continue doing them.

Because this is a volunteer project for us, we have to squeeze it in around our multiple work and family schedules so it is difficult to nail down an exact time. Although we plan to do just that in the future.

For now, keep an eye on Twitter and as soon as we have it scheduled, we will post it up on the main Quantum Cafe Page.

Thanks again!

Elijah is a natural performer! Recently graduating with a degree in Theater, he's an award winning singer and an amazing actor. He first fell in love with Star Trek in college while watching seasons on DVD.
James, who has a background in law enforcement, currently works with tech in a security firm. He's loved Star Trek from a young age, when he'd watch TNG with his family.
